Simple Crystal Radio
I've always been fascinated by radio. As a child, I used to "sneak" a transistor radio under my pillow, and see how many far-away stations I could hear on the AM band. Of course, FM wasn't really THERE, yet.
I remember building a crystal radio set. I actually went to the local library to find the instructions. It fascinated me that with just a few simple components and wire antenna, you could
actually tune in radio broadcasting signals.
Even if you don't remember "those days," you can still experience the joy of building a simple working crystal receiver.
Experience it - AGAIN - for yourself, or pass the "magic" to youngsters.
