Pinto Bean Fudge

1/4 cup milk
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2 pounds powdered sugar
1 cup cooked pinto beans, drained and mashed
1 tablespoon vanilla
6 tablespoons butter

Stir beans and milk together in large bowl. Stir in vanilla. Melt chocolate and butter, stir in bean mixture. Gradually stir in powdered sugar. Knead with hands to blend well. Spread into lightly-buttered 9 inch baking dish. Chill 2 hours in refrigerator.
