Antonella Natalis was born in Milan in 1971.
Beginning as an adolescent, Antonella Natalis was already fascinated by artists of seascapes so watching and studying them, she absorbed the most she could of all their artworks.
She started in this way, with shades and materials, atmospheres, dreams, images, or recovered from some distant memory, she tried to put all those things on canvas. She succeeded, her works express all her love for the seascapes and for the colors as well.
In 1995, she won the Corneliani Prize (runner-up) “Posters and Fashion”, sponsored by the Academy of Brera and the School of Art and Design, Milan and awarded the prize in Castello Sforzesco by Princess Melba Ruffo di Calabria.
In 2015, Antonella was selected for the Exhibition / Competition EXPOARTEITALIANA among 450 emerging artists from all over Italy. The work “cultivate our sea”, chosen by Professor Vittorio Sgarbi and the Artistic Director Giovanni Lettini, along with the other 99 representative works of the theme of EXPO2015, which will be exhibited at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, Varedo (MB) up to the end of 2016.
Through her paintings she explores techniques but also feelings, from the “classic” bright shades of her palette up to the intensely deep, but never gloomy, night scenes, with dark colors, that’s not her.
In TID Showroom in Via Pordoi, 8 in Baranzate she exhibits part of her White Collection, a series of paintings representing the sea, with all its shades of colors.
Three of these paintings are available also on the TID SHOP, where you can actually buy them with just a simple click.
