Sunday 9 September ended the second edition of Forte Design Week, the prestigious event born to create a dialogue between the Design world and the most glamorous tourist resort in Italy, which has always been a flagship in dictating new trends.

A young, but concrete project that want to give life and space to new collaborations and creative energies, drawing inspiration from the elegant and exclusive beauty of the territory, ready to welcome the excellences of the design world in a unique and exclusive way.

An event born from an idea by the artist Daniele Basso and curated by Dr. Francesco Tursini, founder of TID-Theinteriordesign.it, which has developed through a special exhibition at “Il Fortino” in the heart of Forte dei Marmi.

Multi-faceted designers with different techniques and schools of thought have alternated in the interpretation of one of the most important characters that have marked the history of Forte dei Marmi and Versilia, exporting Italian style and elegance in the world, the lawyer Gianni Agnelli.

Among the selected designers: Valeria Cifalà and HIGOLD outdoor products, sponsor of the event, designed by Pininfarina and by the Swiss designer Nicolas Thomkins that have dialogued, for the occasion, with the artworks of Massimo Corona, Emily Clemetine, Aleandro Roncarà and Antonio Franchi.

In addition to the exhibition at “Il Fortino”, in the exclusive and prestigious Augustus Hotel & Resort were also presented the Onda collection by Pininfarina for Higold and the sculptural works Coke Its Me by Daniele Basso and Omaggio a Capocolonna by Giuliano Giancotti.

Among the promoters of this event, also the art gallery Il Forte Arte, an historical reference in Forte dei Marmi, which is owned by Dr. Patrizia Grigolini, without forgetting the great media support received from the Florence Design Week, the international event dedicated to design, art and ingenuity that has just concluded its ninth edition.

An event that wants to be an exclusive moment to experience Design as a system of excellence that increases Knowledge, Competence and Culture, in a territory full of attractions, that enjoys a unique position between sea and land, with the goal to create an annual appointment of great media appeal and public, both national and international, as well as defining itself as a global benchmark for the Design sector itself.
